Extended Follow Up

The "extended follow-up" appointment is thoughtfully tailored to cater to individuals who seek additional time and attention. "Community Care" is an a 60-minute Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine session which is personalised to your specific condition and requirements. Depending on your unique presentation, the session may involve a combination of acupuncture, massage, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, blood-letting, and dietary therapy. Together, our focus will be on attending to your presenting complaint(s) restoring balance and optimizing your overall well-being.

Therapeutic Bodywork, Massage & Cupping

"Therapeutic Bodywork: Massage & Cupping" - an immersive hands-on experience. This exceptional choice is ideal for individuals grappling with tightness, muscle tension, stiffness, and a desire for deep relaxation. It serves as a fantastic alternative for those who may have reservations about acupuncture needles. Determined by your presentation and preference this bodywork session may incorporate techniques from Shiatsu (Japanese Massage), Tui Na (Chinese Massage), Deep Tissue or Relaxation. Additionally it may include the use of Cupping or Gua Sha, depending on what is determined to be most beneficial for your condition. Cupping is a therapeutic technique widely used in Chinese Medicine. It involves placing special cups on the skin that create a suction effect, causing the skin to rise and colour. This therapy is believed to create more surface area within the tissue, stimulate circulation, promote the flow of Qi, and alleviate stagnation or blockages in the body. Cupping is often utilized to address conditions such as muscle pain, inflammation, respiratory issues, and general well-being.
